One of the absolute highlights of the weekend for Doug was meeting Ben Chapman.

Back in 1954, Ben Chapman portrayed the titular 'Creature' in the cult classic, The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Fifty years later, Doug Jones portrayed 'Abe Sapien,' the other cult amphibious character in Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy. Doug was totally awed to meet Ben, who at 81 years old, is still going strong.

Ben said of watching Doug as Abe Sapien;

"His moves are very fluid like mine were. Amazing!!"
