and Doug attended the HORRORFIND
WEEKEND convention in Baltimore. There he met up
not only with his gang of Fan-Sapiens among the countless
fans, but also Fan-Sapien-in-Training Noelle Sinck. Check

Back home in California, Doug
attended the first ever Monsterpalooza
Convention in Burbank with fellow HELLBOY
II: THE GOLDEN ARMY alumnus, the amazing John Alexander.
He met up with Fan Sapien Anoray, who, after months of secret
planning, brought birthday presents from fans all over the
world. It was christened ... OPERATION FAN MULE. Read Anoray's

to attend the Motor City Comic
Con and mingle with fans. He also met up with Fan-Sapien
Kate Daley, who surprised him with an early birthday present! |

to begin a 4-month hitch filming the French-language film
GAINSBOURG: Vie Héroïque
(A Heroic Life) with director/writer Joann Sfar.
The cameras rolled on 20th January, and filming wrapped
at the end of April 2009 |
