Superhero wannabe Ed Gruberman is an affable, eager to please guy who makes his living as a generic costumed superhero at kids’ parties and comic book store events. Ed is thrilled when, due to a court case, he is sentenced to train with real superheroes at a halfway house.

Produced by RG Entertainment, the special makeup FX are being created by creature shop Amalgamated Dynamics, the Oscar-winning studio of Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jnr. Filming began on February 4th, 2008. Doug began filming 28th February, 2008 and wrapped on 13th March, 2008.
